About Me
- Stephanie Shoemake
- I am so very excited to be the owner and director of Peas in a Pod Learning Center of College Station! Here is a little background on me... I am a certified teacher with 8 1/2 years of teaching experience in 4 major public school districts in Texas including, Lewisville, Dallas, Plano, and College Station I.S.D. My first bachelors degree is in Rehabilitation Studies & Psychology (Counseling). My second Bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education. I am a certified Master Reading Teacher, and have enjoyed a wonderful career in educating young children in this community! With the help of my husband, I was blessed to resign from teaching public school to stay at home with our son and twin daughters, and begin operating a registered childcare business in our home. It has been an awesome journey which led us to the opening of a licensed childcare facility here in our home town. We are so honored to be coming up on the end of our 6th school year at Peas in a Pod LC! We are thanking God for His abundant blessings as we prepare for our 7th school year!
